Evan is the Director of Growth and Performance Marketing at Naspers, a global internet and entertainment group and one of the largest technology investors in the world. Waters is a dynamic growth professional with an outstanding track record of growing companies of all sizes, markets, and maturities. He currently works with Naspers portfolio companies from around the globe to elevate their acquisition and retention programs. Some of his work at Naspers investments include Flipkart, Souq, Allegro, OLX, Udemy, eMag, Codecademy, MultiChoice, Super Sport, DStv, LetGo, Konga, and Fashion Days.
Prior to joining Naspers, he built the paid consumer acquisition program at Trulia (acquired $3.5B by Zillow), ignited growth as the first marketing hire for startup Tripping.com ($100M+ valuation), and worked with a variety of established and growing companies on improving their digital presence through data-driven, user-centric, strategic growth initiatives.
His work has been featured on Google AdWords, Search Engine Journal, WebCertain, SMX East, The Next Web, Savage Marketing, Mobile Growth Summit, VRMA, and Tealium and has contributed to Google and AdRoll’s customer advisory boards. Waters is a graduate of Boston College and The London School of Economics General Course.
