Simon Hartley founded WumDrop three years ago after spotting a gap for a cost-effective, surgically efficient last mile delivery service while selling diapers online. A qualified television scriptwriter with absolutely no software development chops whatsoever, Hartley and his team trained for the pressures of last mile delivery by spinning up the on- demand cheese toasty service, the Grilled Cheese Club. WumDrop now operates in Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria and Johannesburg with clientele including Standard Bank, Makro, Game, WeFix, The Foschini Group, and Zando.
